1. Contact Senior Centers
   1. Provide information about the Gravestone Advocacy Project and its mission.
   2. Provide questionnaires which the Seniors may list any knowledge of an endangered, neglected, or abandoned cemetery in their area.


2. Contact Historical Societies
1. Provide information about the Arkansas Gravestones Project, as well as the Gravestone Advocacy Project.
2. Promote growth in awareness and involvement.
3. Provide questionnaires for patrons of these Societies in which they may list any knowledge of an endangered, neglected, or abandoned cemetery in their area.


3. Contact the County Assessor’s office in each respective County, via email, and acquire early maps which may help identify older cemeteries.



4. Contact schools
   1. Possibly speaking to an elementary school class and showing them the historical value of cemeteries.
   2. Encourage a field trip to a local cemetery where the history lesson will be an active one.
   3. Promote our site by using popular sites for young persons, such as Facebook, MySpace, or begin a blog site.


5. Contact local newspapers
   1. Provide factual information about the Arkansas Gravestones Project.
   2. Speak with the Editor about a possible article about AGP, and convey the conditions of many Arkansas cemeteries.


6. Contact rural churches
   1. Inquire as to whether or not the church has knowledge of any endangered, neglected, or abandoned cemeteries.


7. Promote community involvement
   1. Host a meeting at a local Senior Center
   2. Find local sponsors that might donate/lend items needed for clean-up such as: tools, buckets, water, and possibly food for the volunteers.
   3. Place flyers around the community to promote the cemetery’s clean-up day.
