Clay Garretson and a group of 125 people participated in an Archeological dig at the Carden Bottoms, Morrilton, Arkansas, June 13-28 2009. The dig was at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain. This is a Historic Indian Site. The camping area and Headquarters was at the top of Petit Jean Mountain at the Winthrope Rockefeller Institute.The training program was under the leadership of Dr. Leslie (Skip) Stewart-Abernathy, Station Archeolgist at Wintrope Rockefeller Institute.
The dig was sponsored by the Arkansas Archelolgical Society/Arkansas Archeological Survey. Among the items that were found were Indian Trade Goods: Glass Beads and Copper and other items.
