Hi Tootie!

Wayne & I, along with Wayne's Aunt Diann went gravin with Vickie Kane today. The Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison has 9-10,000 headstones, it is massive! Vickie, by herself has over 4,000 already on AGP for this cemetery! It is a gorgeous cemetery with big maple trees. Yes, it was hot, but we had a great time, and we really enjoyed it!

I am attaching some photos we took, thought you would like to see them.. :) Tootie, Vickie is more wonderful than you can imagine with a heart of gold and shares our mission in photographing all the headstones in every county. Boone County is only behind Pulaski & Lawrence on most photographs taken, that is tribute to Vickie's efforts. I am looking forward to going with her again, we worked great together.

I copied 348 photos to my pc for Maplewood. (Vickie & Wayne guessed we took about 600, so they both were right on). I am really looking forward to going back and gravin' with Vicki some more. Vicki has offered to go to Newton County with me. Wayne says this fall/winter when the weather is cooler and the snakes and chiggers are not a factor, he will take us to as many of the old abandoned ones and hard to find ones we want to go to. I say we make that Enon one we talked about, top of the list. :)
